# Hey There! My name is Arnav

Source: <https://arnav.somaghatta.com/about-me/>

Welcome to my website! I am a 9th-grade developer based in the USA who loves to explore the world of code! When I'm not debugging or building something really cool, you'll find me exploring new technologies like AI.

My coding journey started with Python and Java, but I have expanded my skill set to include web development with HTML and a little CSS, which I'm using to build this very website you're looking at right now!

## My Skills

Here is my skill set. This is always growing as I learn new things!

| Skill | What I do with it |
| --- | --- |
| Python | Automation, scripting, async programming |
| Discord Bots | Commands, events, rate-limit aware design |
| HTML/CSS | Responsive layouts, semantic HTML, modern CSS layout |
| MongoDB | Schema design for documents, connecting from apps/bots |
| Cloudflare | DNS management, SSL/TLS configuration, DDoS protection, caching strategies |
| Minecraft Server Development | Plugin/mod configuration, performance tuning, backups |
| Server Administration | Linux/Windows, troubleshooting, automation |
| Git Version Control | Repo management, branching, commits, collaboration workflows |

## Outside of Coding

Outside of coding, I am a black belt in karate, which shows my discipline and commitment to long-term physical training. I also play table tennis, which highlights my hand eye coordination and fast reflexes. Additionally, I like to play video games like Delta Force, Roblox, and Fortnite on the weekends in my free time.
