"Nothing is impossible if you just try."
I'm Arnav Somaghatta, a high school student developer based in the USA. Most of what I build starts as something I wanted to exist for a community I'm part of, and then gets rebuilt properly once it turns out other people want it too.
I write Discord bots in Python with discord.py, backed by MongoDB for anything that has to survive a restart: moderation tooling, entertainment commands, utility commands, and server management features. I run and tune Minecraft servers, which means plugin configuration, permission systems like LuckPerms, staged updates with backups, and performance work on tick rate and memory use. I administer the Ubuntu server that hosts this site and several of my other projects, and I hand-write websites in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript rather than generating them from a template.
The habits matter more than the stack. I use permission checks and real error handling instead of hoping nothing goes wrong, I log failures so they can be diagnosed later, and I test changes before they reach anything people depend on. Deployments go out in stages with backups behind them, so a bad release is something you roll back rather than something you survive.
